Abstract:   
Holcim Vietnam Ltd (Holcim Vietnam) is a joint-venture company between Holcim Group from Switzerland, one of the world’s leading cement producer accounts for 65% of the share and Hatien1 Cement Corporation (35%) – a member of Viet Nam Cement Corporation established on 25/02/1994. Holcim Vietnam also operates a storage, blending and dispatch facility at Cat Lai terminal, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City and Head Office at District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and Thi Vai Clinker Grinding Terminal located in Ba Ria, Vung Tau city and Hiep Phuoc grinding station located in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh city. The company has an installed annual capacity of 4.6 million tones of cement and over 120,000m3 of ready-mix concrete. The study will summary current situation of Holcim Vietnam regarding to distribution network and what is the basic power of the distributors. In recent years, there are many new cement producers coming which shall put more pressure on the current players including Holcim Vietnam to maintain selling price, market share and secure its distribution system. The result will focus on how the company create loyalty of distributors and what Holcim should do to overcome the power of its distributors
